6-20-07 = Jebus! It's Humid down here in Georgia where
we have been for the last couple days. Colin(ex Fall Line and
Aphellion) has been with us since Baltimore and is helping us
with merch. I'm lookin forward to some dry heat so I dont feel
sticky all day :D. We are gettin some CDs in stores and seein
some cool stuff. All our shows so far have had very decent
attendance. The new van has been great even though I was not
able to get new armor into full effect yet. Still we have AC
now and it doesnt feel like its gonna fall apart all day...plus
gas milage is better. Anyway if your gonna be where we are come
to a show. Otherwise send friends or messages.
<3 Alex

6-10-07 = Hot damn. We leave for tour in about...2 days.
I mean, technically, since we're leaving early-ish on
Wednesday. Alex and I worked hard on our newer van yesterday,
which was cool. Seems like it will be an ok ride compared to
years past, but who knows. If you haven't signed up for our
email list, please do so, as we can send you out tour updates
and thingies from that. Should be a fun time, and come see us!
-N

5-23-07 = Hey, remember that radio interview we did in
April? Well, now it's up online! Here's the address:
April 26, 2007
The Joint Talk
WBRS 100.1 FM
Brandeis University, Waltham, MA
http://theseare.net/ta_ttos-radio_int.mp3
It's a split interview with These Are:! -N

5-20-07 = Word up dingy dogs! We had a rockin' show last
night in Winthrop (down by the ocean, y'all...actually this was
ON the Ocean (like on the waterfront)). Rowan removed my shoe
and beat me with it while we were playing...then Maggot Mike
from A Terrible Night For A Curse tried to give
me a wedgie, but oh was he surprised with the results! (not as
creepy as it sounds). Rockin though. There's pictures up at
www.returntothepit.com. Enjoy! -N

5-18-07 = What's new to tell? Well, we leave for tour in
about three weeks. That's pretty intense. We might be heading
out again in the fall for a brief period with City of Ships from
VA / FL and maybe Revocation, both awesome bands. Our record is
still out, you should buy it. The van is working and in good
shape, so I bet we can get it all throughout tour. Drop us a
line, say hi. Stimulate us. -N

5-5-07 = AWWWW shucks! After a ripping set at UMass Lowell,
my guitar had a tuning peg snapped off. Of course, I did spin
it around and then abandon it as it tumbled to the floor, so that
might have something to do with it. Anyhow, rad times,
and you should check out GAZA from Salt Lake City if you haven't
done so already. In other news, the van is back up for now. Buy
some records or shirts in the MERCH section so we can get us
selves a new van please. -N
PS - special thanks to Aaron at RTTP for taking the pic of my
geetar!

4-26-07 = Tonight! Alex and I will be on WBRS's program
"The Joint" tonight at 11pm. Listen in via the web @
www.wbrs.org or via the radio (if you live near Waltham,MA)
at 100.1 FM. In other news, we're working on a split with These
Are:, rockin dudes from Allston and Lowell, MA. This split
will most likely be with Ethan over at Hold True again. We're
also looking at doing a split vinyl record with Outclassed from
Pittsburgh, a fantastic band you should definitely check out. If
you want to release this, please drop us a line! Talk to you
again soon. -N

4-17-07 = Hey hey hey. News updates a plenty! We're still
working on our summer tour, which should be awesome. THE NOISE
magazine said I had "more chops than a Bruce Lee film festival"
which is quite flattering. May 3rd, we're playing the most
awesome free show imaginable, seen here.
For those of you that hate to click-through, that's a poster for
Thursday, May 3rd at UMass Lowell with Gaza, The_Network, and
Porphyria. That show is all ages, and totally free. It will own
you.
I'm trying to think of other worthy band news, but
it escapes me at the moment. Bah. -N

4-3-07 = Much good news to be given! Let's see... We've been trying to find the right angle to take on shooting a video for at least one of our songs (no pun intended). In the meantime, we made this lovely video that was a response to another video of a baby playing guitar online. I don't know if the video WE made ever successfully uploaded, but if it did, you oughta check it out. I kid you not when I say "Life changing!".
Aphelion from Baltimore, MD, are joining us on our tour this summer for the first week. They are ripping black metal, and my very good friend Colin who was in The Fall Line plays bass. Rock out hard.
I am pleased to announce that both Very Distribution and Century Media have both picked up Narcimalion for their online distros! That is pretty sick, and if you haven't obtained your own copy of the new disc, I strongly urge you too. It's a great piece of work that I'm sure you'll enjoy.
Lastly, Newbury Comics locations
around New England have copies of our Narcimalion in
their shelves. Go take a peek! Talk to you again soon -N
3-29-07 = What's Up Rockers! I have sick news! The next
issue of Alternative Press magazine, better known as AP, will
have a FULL PAGE photo of us on page 37, heading off the DIY
section! Granted, I personally would not use that term to
describe us (let the home fix-it network continue to use it)
but that is so sick! Special thanks to Carina Mastricola of
DefyUnlearn.com for making that happen. The issue is #226 May
2007 just in case you're wondering, and you can see a scan of
it here: http://www.defyunlearn.com/images/apdiy.jpg! In
other news, our summer tour, part of which is with Aphelion,
seems to be booking much better, so let's hope that continues.
Always feel free to try and help! Cheers. -N
3-17-07 = Ethan at Hold True is having a contest to win a
free copy of anything on his label, including Narcimalion or the
new These Are: disc entitled Scare Tactics. Check it out
at his website HoldTrue.com. -N
3-14-07 = What is new you ask? Well, again, the new album
is pumpin' out the rock session, so that's cool. We're the
"featured band" on www.revhq.com which is
also pretty rad an somewhat unexpected. Right now we're playing
some really awesome shows in March-May, then out for our annual
tour in June/July. If anyone can help, please contact us as this
is always a big to-do in booking such a long an adventurous tour!
You can also help by ordering a shirt or a CD, as this will help
us pay for tour, which, umm, rules? Yes. Thanks. -N
2-28-07 = FINALLY! It's HERE! Narcimalion is in, folks.
Please order a copy or seven and help send us on tour. You can
purchase it through our MERCH section. Enjoy, and thanks for the
continued support!
2-22-07 = Today I made our MySpace look really spiffy. Wanna
see? Here's the link: myspace.com/thetasteofsilver.
Any feedback is super rad! We have a few shows coming up,
and hopefully our van will be in good shape for tour this summer.
Rock out. -N
2-19-07 = Busy Busy Busy. Trying to book summer tour, that's
what's keeping us tangled up in blue. Anyone who can help, drop us
a line! Our big goal for this year is to get gas money from all our
dates. Will it happen? Pfff, who knows. But hey, it's worth a shot.
There's a good chance we'll be going out with These Are:, who are
totally sick dudes in a tight band. Check them out, if you haven't,
at myspace.com/theseare.
Get in touch! -N
2-17-07 = part 2 = The "Merch" section is totally up. We're
still working out the kinks on international shipping for the
shopping cart setup, so if anyone has any ideas, let us know. Word!
-N
2-17-07 = A skeleton of the "Merch" section is up. Go buy a
shirt or a CD! We can always use the money, as touring is very much
not cheap for us. We promise we don't spend the money on crack.
Everything we make is high-quality, so you'll get your money's worth.
Cheers -N!
2-16-07 = Well, it's been plenty of weeks, but Narcimalion
WILL be out. For those not in the know, this is our upcoming 13
song full-length concept album that is being released by Hold
True Recordings out of Bolton, MA. It's about 45 minutes long, I
believe, and all totally original never before released. It's pretty
neat. In other news,we're touring this summer from June 13th to July
15th or so. If you're interested in booking us, please do! We're
easy-going dudes. -N
